I completed my Diploma of Beauty Therapy at 18 years old and through these studies I gained valuable human anatomy and skin science knowledge.
I always held a love for body modifications and was so very lucky at age 21 to enter my piercing apprenticeship in 2007.
I have seen an insane amount of growth in the piercing industry since my humble beginnings and it makes me so happy to see where we are today.
When I first started out, jewellery was pretty ugly and more "purposeful", and piercings were labelled more as a sign of rebellion and out of social norm contexts.
Fast forward to many years later, we now have the doors wide open to clients of ALL walks of life who care enough about their body and expressing who they are to choose to adorn themselves with a piece of character.
Whether loud and chunky, petite and silver, sparkly, gold or even rainbow-todays clients know that a piercing can help them look more on the outside, like they feel on the inside. Similar to changing our hair colour.
After working in other more controlled piercing environments for over a decade, I dreamed of opening my very own space - to offer a truely different and superior piercing experience to clients that I felt was better for both piercer, and piercer..
A space for us to connect with your visual goals in mind, and one in which you feel less "like a number" and more like a valued member of our sweet little stabby club.
I am the sole owner/operator here - so the same person who pierces you, will be looking after you throughout your journey of healing too. Which I feel is super important when dealing with individuals in the way that body piercers do. Your history becomes part of the journey that we enter with body piercing and I can specifically make the right decisions for your piercing story.
I wanted you to be listened to and given solid, proven consultation and aftercare information and a smooth and experienced piercing sitting.
I wanted to reduce the impact my business in this industry has on the environment and use all available options for sustainability…
I wanted to create a safe space that ALL clients could feel welcome in.
I wanted to educate clients about high quality jewellery over 'fast fashion' cheap jewellery (ie: disposable junk!) and the importance of choosing a piercer who cares about your body like it is their own.
