Receiving a piercing can be uncomfortable, but is a very quick procedure.
The level of pain varies depending on each individual and a variety of factors.
We use techniques acquired over many years of experience to minimise discomfort and support you through the entire process.
We also provide guidance on how to care for your new piercing after the appointment, to further minimise any pain or discomfort.
We get that piercings can be a lil bit scary, so we are ok with you having 1-2 support people with you for your appointment, as long as they respect the piercer's time and space to be able to focus without interruptions.
The piercing space is too small to safely accomodate any more people than that.
As a courtesy to the piercer who needs to be able to concentrate on the task at hand to give you the best piercing possible, we kindly request no children be present in the piercing room please.
We endeavour to offer a calm and professional atmosphere and want you to be able to relax while we perform your piercing. For this reason we do require the presence of a second adult that can supervise your child at all times, as our staff are busy with other tasks. While this policy helps ensure all studio visitors enjoy a relaxing experience, it was also created with your child’s safety in mind.
This will vary depending on a huge amount of factors. Just as all bodies are extremely different, so are all healing times. Generally, soft tissue such as ear lobes can take an average of 3-5 months, whilst areas such as ear cartilage can take up to 12-18 months. We value the importance of giving tailored aftercare to each individual and offer free checkup appointments throughout your healing journey. If you would like to speak with the piercer regarding this further, prior to making an appointment, please book an in person consultation.
in short, no. Many piercings require certain aspects of anatomy to ensure that they can be performed safely and to leave you with a long-term happy and healed piercing. Anatomy dependant piercings are noted on our booking site.
We offer a superior level of experience, safety and hygiene practices, continued education and quality products. We only use and sell jewellery that is biocompatible at a minimum, that is APP verified implant titanium with high-polish finish, and 14-18k solid gold. Our range of jewellery costs us a lot more than unverified, low quality, poor finish jewellery. This contributes to an overall safer and healthier piercing/healing experience - resulting in happy piercings which actually costs you less overall.
